Surprise Stadium will host seven Division I college baseball games over four days in February 2027, bringing Nebraska, Oregon State, UC Santa Barbara, Vanderbilt and Kent State to the West Valley.
The complete schedule released Monday, Sept. 21, sets three consecutive doubleheaders for Feb. 19-21, followed by a separate Monday game between Kent State and Oregon State. The first six games will open the 2027 season for the four tournament teams.
2027 Surprise college baseball schedule
All times are Arizona time. The home team is listed second.
- Friday, Feb. 19: Vanderbilt vs. Oregon State at 4:30 p.m.; Nebraska vs. UC Santa Barbara at 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 20: Nebraska vs. Oregon State at 4:30 p.m.; UC Santa Barbara vs. Vanderbilt at 8 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 21: UC Santa Barbara vs. Oregon State at 4:30 p.m.; Vanderbilt vs. Nebraska at 8 p.m.
- Monday, Feb. 22: Kent State vs. Oregon State at 5:30 p.m.
The Friday-through-Sunday games will follow Major League Baseball spring training games at Surprise Stadium, home to the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers each spring. Spring training game times are separate from the college schedule and had not been announced with Monday’s release.
Oregon State will serve as the host school and make its 14th consecutive appearance in Surprise. Nebraska and UC Santa Barbara have also played at the stadium in earlier seasons. The matchup between Oregon State and Vanderbilt opens the tournament Friday afternoon.
Ticket prices and the three-day math
General admission tickets are on sale. A three-day tournament pass for the six weekend games costs $67.50 for adults and $43.50 for youth, before taxes and fees. Single-day admission, which covers both games on the selected date, costs $31 for adults and $19 for youth.
For someone attending all three doubleheaders, the pass works out to $22.50 per day for an adult and $14.50 per day for a youth. Compared with buying three single-day tickets, the pass saves $25.50 per adult and $13.50 per youth before taxes and fees.
The Monday Oregon State-Kent State game is ticketed separately at $16. Reserved home-plate seating is also available, and groups can contact the Surprise Stadium box office at 623-222-2222.
Second year for the Surprise tournament
The 2027 event will be the second Surprise College Baseball Series organized by REV Entertainment in partnership with the city. The city said more than 18,000 fans attended the inaugural 2026 tournament, setting a college baseball tournament attendance record for a stadium that has hosted college games since opening in 2003.
The schedule gives Surprise Stadium four straight days of college baseball in the middle of Cactus League season.
