DSV has signed a lease for 251,216 square feet at Litchfield Palms Logistics Park in Goodyear, adding another large global logistics operator to the city’s industrial corridor near Interstate 10.
The lease was first reported Oct. 1 by CoStar News. West Valley Post independently confirmed that DSV is staffing an operation in Building A at 150 N. Litchfield Road through current company job postings, including openings for a general manager and logistics coordinator.
The 251,216-square-foot figure matches one of the three buildings at Litchfield Palms, a completed industrial complex at Litchfield Road and Van Buren Street. The site sits about a mile south of Interstate 10 and immediately east of Goodyear City Hall.
What DSV is building in Goodyear
DSV’s current job postings describe a warehouse operation handling inbound and outbound shipments, receiving, picking, quality control and forklift work. The company identifies the location as 150 N. Litchfield Road, Building A.
A separate posting for a Goodyear general manager calls for oversight of operations, equipment, safety, budgets and customer relationships in what DSV describes as a multi-client environment. The postings establish that the company is moving beyond a paper lease and assembling an operating team, although DSV has not publicly disclosed the number of jobs planned for the Goodyear site, the customer or customers it will serve, or a formal opening date.
DSV’s logistics coordinator listing says the work is on site at Building A. The company’s general manager listing also identifies North Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
The larger Litchfield Palms complex
Johnson Development Associates, the project’s developer, lists Litchfield Palms as a three-building, 855,962-square-foot complex completed in 2023. Its buildings range from about 83,000 to 521,000 square feet and were designed for either single or multiple tenants.
The park’s location places DSV near a cluster of large distribution operations serving the Southwest Valley. Amazon, FedEx, UPS and Chewy facilities are nearby, according to the developer.
The newly leased building represents about 29% of the logistics park’s total floor area.
A second major Arizona site for DSV
The Goodyear operation is separate from DSV’s much larger regional headquarters under construction in southeast Mesa. The company broke ground in January on that 950,000-square-foot facility and said it expects completion in early 2027. DSV has projected about 160 employees at full capacity in Mesa.
DSV has not said whether the Goodyear warehouse will remain after the Mesa hub opens or how the two sites will divide customers and services. Its active Goodyear hiring indicates the West Valley facility has its own operating needs now.
The company provides air, sea, road and contract-logistics services and says it employs close to 160,000 people in more than 90 countries. Its Goodyear lease gives the company a large position on the west side of the Phoenix market while its regional headquarters takes shape near Mesa Gateway Airport.
